kingston weekend

Posted on November 12, 2006. Filed under: The boy(s), Travelling |

Brian and I went to Kingston for the weekend and it was absolutely lovely. Well, the stupid drunken guys in the room next to us who kept us up sucked, as did the hotel staff (never stay at the Radisson in Kingston), but after we moved rooms to get away from them it was much better. We hung out and did some Christmas shopping on Princess St and just relaxed which was SO so nice! K-town sure has changed in the last year, but we did (as a precondition to the trip) go to Wok-In, which is my favourite Thai restaurant in the whole world. It was so good! If you’re ever in Kingston you have to go and check it out. There aren’t many tables and it’s cash only but it’s worth the wait and the trip to the bank machine.

I missed one large item. Cultured Buttermilk. How the hell do I, after a full year of not eating dairy miss the indicators Butter and Milk! For goodness sake it can’t get more dairy than that. Needless to say I know have 6 beautiful looking muffins sitting on the counter that I cannot technically eat. I hope my family likes them. Damn. Stupid Dyingness.
