thailand and kingston next august and the season of weddings
Wow. We have (almost finalized) plans for next August. As in 2007. Brian has friends getting married in Thailand and we’re going to try to go — hopefully for 3 weeks (if I can manage to get the time off work at the end of July/beginning of August) and provided the dates work out. He has another set of friends who are getting married in Kingston (at Queen’s, which is cool) in August as well. We aren’t even in this August yet and next year is booked up — thus, the key as to why life starts to move along at a clip that is just too fast. It is nice to be part of a couple though and to have couply plans to do…never thought I’d be the one to admit it, but I guess I’m getting soft in my old age :).
It’s also the season of weddings — our late 20s. My friend Nina has been invited to 9 weddings this year! 9! How crazy is that? I’ve only been invited to 2, and am happy that I can wear the same dress — can also wear it next year because each wedding involves entirely different people.
Any tips on where to find cheap flights to Thailand? Where to see? Where to stay?
