words often get me into trouble
When someone says “I’ll miss you.” What is the correct response?
Yep — you’re right. You say: “I’ll miss you too”.
You do not say “No you won’t” or “You’re not allowed to because it really won’t be any different than it is now.”
You accept the sweet, kind, and meaningful words and feel good that someone is missing you and loves you. And you hope that they will want to continue to talk to you and to miss you and to love you.
