my first audio book?

Posted on June 19, 2006. Filed under: Books |

Instead of reading at stop signs, I'm going to take my first stab at listening to an audio book in the car… My CD player doesn't skip as much in the summer as it does in the winter, and if a new car is on the horizon, then that won't be an issue. So, the first one I'm trying is The Penderwicks…I'll let you know how it goes.

Ho did your first experience with an audioboook go? If your car stereo is giving you a hard time with CD’s, might be an idea to switch to downloadable audiobooks and running them off an iPod or MP3 player?
I run an online audiobook shop that has an affiliate program. So you’ll be saving two ways: Downloadable audio books are generally less expensive than their physical counterparts, and if you set up your own affiliate links and then byu through them, you can deduct an other 10%.
This blog page would be a good place to start adding your own link.
Looking forward to doing business with you!
Audio Books Affiliate Program

Hi Rolf,

Thanks for the link to your affiliate program. I’ll check it out. I find that the downloads are more of a hassle, only because I have an FM transmitter for my iPod, but no other way to connect it to my car…and it will run out of batteries quickly so I’m not sure it would remember my place in the file as well as the CD does.

Thanks though!

No problem. The iPod lets you set a bookmark and then you can pick up right where you left off.

Have a great week!

Great concept for us auditory learners who like to hear content. Instead of straining the eyes. I note the link to the affiliate program. Into the queue..
