my new non-secret love affair with cashews

You would think that the 100th post would be something of a momentous occasion, but this week has just been so crazy with nothingness that I don’t really have much to say. I snapped out of the mushiness spell that I was in while in Arizona – it was weird, it just disappeared pretty much as soon as I stepped off the plane.

After failing my midterm and going to a party for work all I’ve had to do is scavenge for food that I can eat (the wonderful new superstore is now out of millet and rice bread. Damn.) I have, however, found the joy of eating cashews. Wow. Why didn’t anyone ever tell me how great these were before? I used to never like nuts, but I think that if I had found these earlier in life, I could have avoided serious bouts of depression through the means of eating cashews. Seriously. They should pump these things into your veins. I have to restrain myself from eating the entire bag today. Yay protein!

Other than that, the only news is that my appointment with the GI has been postponed and I can’t make the next 2 available days, so looks like we’re into mid-march now (from the original appointment in January). Damn. I really just want to see him so he’ll refer me to a rheumatologist and they can start to seriously figure out the dyingness. Stupid random disease.
