a new symptom for the dyingness — painful breathing — great

It’s happened twice now — once before I left for the trip, and once last night. All of a sudden there is the feeling that sharp knives are cutting through parts of my body when I breathe in. Could be unrelated to the dyingness or could mean the dyingness is progressing into a new form. Brian was a total sweetie and really wanted to take me to the hospital, but I know they won’t do anything and that it would pass, which it did. The last time it happened I couldn’t breathe in at all because it hurt so much. I then had a dream last night that I told the GI about this and when I went to pick up the test results, he had marked my file “hypochondriac”. Stupid dyingness.

Cameron is getting out of Saudi — going to be working in Australia soon. Not a bad deal, though he has to give up his 4 months vacation. I wonder if working in the middle of nowhere in Saudi will really be much different from working in the middle of nowhere in Australia?

i rock at bowling, especially in arizona

Brian and I went bowling tonight and I totally rocked! I got 150 in the first game and then we tied at 131 in the second game. I haven’t been bowling in years but it was so fun! There was a group of high school kids beside us who were super dressed up and they looked like they were all meeting for the first time or something, but I’m really not sure how some of those girls could move, let alone bowl, in the tight dresses they had on. Didn’t really go with the bowling shoes. Maybe that’s a US thing? Haha.
