i swallowed the gum that killed me

Okay, not exactly, but can a person with candida swallow gum? I guess it’s too late to get it back but what really happens to it down in the digestive tract? Are the urban myths true? Does it really hang around for seven years? Why is it always seven? Seven years bad luck for breaking a mirror… Okay, so I can’t think of any more superstitions with seven in them, but I’m sure there are some… Any come to mind?

an interesting title and interactivity in the form of questions to encourage commenting…very nicely done.

I think the gum thing is an urban myth. You’d poop it out whole if it didn’t digest on it’s magical journy through the intestines.

Here’s an interesting link on the number 7.

I did take your advice to heart — and thanks, it seems to be working!

As for the disappearing gum — are you sure it doesn’t really stay stuck in there somewhere? Haha. I’m totally joking.
